Cansel is searching for a Product Specialist Representative (PSR) based out of our Head Office in Burnaby or our Montreal Office. We want a highly motivated and service-oriented individual who isn’t afraid to take initiative – that’s where you come in. PSRs play an important role in educating our clients on our products allowing them to make well informed decisions on their purchases. We are looking for a candidate that is a product expert and has experience as a surveyor or other Survey/Construction experience or education.
• Use the following skills 1) Customer Service, 2) Product Knowledge, 3) Sales Tools• Maintain excellent customer service relations• Process orders; primarily by email and telephone, up on back orders & communicate with the customer• Understand and communicate the full consumable portfolio of Cansel offerings, including construction field supplies and paper products • Support our Customers, Customer Service Reps and Sales team by answering technical questions primarily by telephone & email. Providing level 2 Customer Service support.• Support sales activities and engage in pro-active selling. Work with customers to ensure that they purchase the best available product for them. Discuss options and substitutions.• Participate in customer live chat support for E-commerce.• Participate in trade-shows, training events or other related events as requested and required• Train employees on the different products Cansel carries
We are looking for an energetic individual able to work within a team environment and prefers to work with minimal supervision. To succeed in this position, you will possess the following characteristics:• Must have survey and/or construction industry experience• Strong customer service, interpersonal communication, & telephone skills• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work activities appropriately• Remaining calm and upbeat in a fast-paced atmosphere• Self-discipline and highly organized with ability to take initiative • Ability to foster strong workplace relationships to create a positive work environment• Demonstrated knowledge of computer information systems including: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
