Position Summary

We are searching for an organized and motivated individual for our Accounts Payable department. You will be responsible for general accounts payable tasks and managing relationships with various vendors. In this role, the ability to organize and prioritize tasks is crucial. Our AP Clerks receive information and requests from several different sources. The ability to organize this information to ensure that your work is completed on a daily basis is key.

You will report to the Senior Accountant and work alongside 4 other members of our AP team. This role is full time & 40 hours a week.

In this role, you will...

In this role you will…
• Communicate with Cansel operations department to obtain approvals and resolve account issues
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment remittances, invoice copies and credit follow-ups
• Process a high volume of invoices in a timely & accurate manner
• Reconciling differences between invoice amounts and accruals created in SAP
• Enter credit card transactions, match and upload receipts
• Invoice entry
• Work with other team members to manage central AP inbox, complete bi-weekly payment runs and other office duties such as mail and filing

About you...

• 2-3 years Accounts Payable experience is preferred
• Close attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• Excellent verbal, phone and email communication
• Ability to understand basic business processes and work with customers/suppliers to satisfy their business needs and requirements
• Autonomous, friendly, handles fast-paced and high-volume environments well
• Ability to deal with a dynamic & changing work environment

Bonus points

• Experience with SAP and Excel is an asset
• French is an asset
